We’re Allison and Tyler Blair — also referred to as the “happy campers.” We are traveling wedding filmmakers who recently sold all of our things to purchase + renovate a 35 ft RV to live in full-time on the road with our golden retriever in search of our next big adventure.

Some important things to note about us: we are obsessed with dogs (clearly) We really love when they’re part of wedding days/elopements…just saying. We’re always quoting The Office + Parks and Rec. We drink one too many cups of coffee a day. We love driving with the top off of our jeep, we love all things Harry Potter, we’re theme park junkies, + we love movie dates. We always prefer to be in the mountains, but we live for those quiet coastal towns. We've been married for 5 1/2 years + what we've learned during this time is that marriage is the sweetest adventure, with so many ups, downs, twists, + turns. It’s so special to get to grow old alongside your best friend.

This has been our thing for the past six years + we’ve made so many unforgettable memories together. We’ve had the pleasure of filming weddings all over the country — from Colorado, Alaska, Utah, Maine, Vermont, New York, South Carolina, California, Oregon. We’ve even filmed weddings as far south as the Dominican Republic and Sayulita, Mexico. After all these years, after getting to witness hundreds of unique wedding days and elopements, we can honestly say that we couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
This is our job…but this is also our passion.

Tyler and Allison wove our crazy video clips into our wedding film and made it all seem so EFFORTLESS. They took our vows and small moments during the day and created a film more unique than I could have ever dreamed. My husband and I watch it all the time to relive our day, and we notice small, signature touches each time that show how much care and love Tyler and Allison poured into our video. Their talent was so evident to me from the beginning, but their added value comes in who they are as individuals and as a team. They have the kindest, most fun-loving spirits and I could tell they were truly excited to be a part of our big adventure. Tyler and Allison began as vendors and became friends. I didn’t think I would ever feel honored to have a vendor team as a part of my wedding day, but working with Happy Campers was an honor.
Their services are priceless.

How we got started…

We fell in love while attending the same tiny college in the mountains together — but have had the privilege of being in one another’s lives since grade school.

We started this wedding film business as a side hobby during college while we were dating. Tyler was known as the “video guy” around campus since he created funny films for our Baptist Campus Ministry + several people asked him to film their weddings that summer. I tagged along to hold his gear because any excuse to attend a wedding! We loved every second of it + decided to name our business “Happy Camper Films” (at the time, we had dreams of traveling around with a vintage camper — funny how things come full circle!) A few months later we were married on a misty, chilly October day. 6 years later, here we are. We have filmed hundreds of weddings all over the country + have loved every second of the journey!
