We’re Allison and Tyler Blair — also known as the “happy campers.”

We are traveling wedding filmmakers who recently sold everything we owned to purchase, renovate, + travel the country in a 35 ft RV with our golden retriever in search of our next big adventure.

Some important things to note about us: we are dog obsessed. We really love when couples include their pups on their wedding days/elopements…just saying. We’re always quoting The Office or Parks and Rec. We drink one too many cups of coffee a day. We love road-tripping in our jeep, we love all things Harry Potter, we will never turn down a day at Disney World, + on Thursday nights you can often find as stuffing our faces with popcorn at the movies. We always prefer to be in the mountains or a quiet coastal town. We've been married for 5 1/2 years + what we've learned during this time is that marriage is the sweetest adventure, filled with so many ups, downs, twists, + turns.
It’s so special to get to grow old alongside your best friend.

We’ve been filming weddings for the past six years + we’ve made so many unforgettable memories together. We’ve had the pleasure of filming weddings all over the country — from Colorado, Alaska, Utah, Maine, Vermont, New York, South Carolina, California, Oregon. We’ve even filmed weddings as far south as the Dominican Republic and Sayulita, Mexico. After all these years, after getting to witness hundreds of unique wedding days and elopements, we can honestly say that we couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
This is our job…but this is also our passion.

Tyler and Allison wove our crazy video clips into our wedding film and made it all seem so EFFORTLESS. They took our vows and small moments during the day and created a film more unique than I could have ever dreamed. My husband and I watch it all the time to relive our day, and we notice small, signature touches each time that show how much care and love Tyler and Allison poured into our video. Their talent was so evident to me from the beginning, but their added value comes in who they are as individuals and as a team. They have the kindest, most fun-loving spirits and I could tell they were truly excited to be a part of our big adventure. Tyler and Allison began as vendors and became friends. I didn’t think I would ever feel honored to have a vendor team as a part of my wedding day, but working with Happy Campers was an honor.
Their services are priceless.

We all start somewhere…

We fell in love while attending the same tiny college in the mountains together — but have had the privilege of being in one another’s lives since grade school.

We started this wedding film business as a side hobby during college while we were dating. Tyler was known as the “video guy” around our college campus since he created funny films for our Baptist Campus Ministry. One summer, several of our friends asked him to film their weddings + I tagged along to hold all of his gear. We loved every second of it + decided we enjoyed it enough to turn it into a little side hobby. We came up with the name “Happy Camper Films” (at the time, we had dreams of traveling around with a vintage camper — funny how things come full circle!) + a few, short months later we were married on a misty, chilly October day. We had no idea that our side hobby would turn into a full blown passion, let a lone a full time business for the two of us. But 6 years later, here we are! We have filmed hundreds of weddings all over the country + have truly enjoyed every second of the journey.

You two are incredible. You’ve been incredible to work with, to grow with, to let into our relationship, to trust! it’s hard to let folks in on such an intimate day in your life without ever having previously building a relationship...we are so glad we had you two. we are so grateful for your kindness, your skill, your passion and mostly we are grateful for your FAITH in family, in friends, in your work. we felt God’s grace present in all that we’ve done for this marriage and it could not have been captured without two people behind the lens that embody faith, family, and friends. so, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
we value you. we appreciate you.
